BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The LIU women's volleyball team won its second straight Northeast Conference game at home Saturday night, beating Bryant in a five-set thriller, 3-2 (25-19, 25-17, 21-25, 22-25, 15-11). With the win, the Sharks move to 3-1 in NEC action.

- Senior Jovana Stekovic had a team-high 18 kills, along with 19 digs. Junior Karolina Nova also had a double-double, with 14 kills and 11 digs.
- Senior Anastasia Scott had 34 digs on defense, while sophomore setter Ainsley Malis had 46 assists.
- Freshman Katie Berg added 10 kills for LIU in the win.
- The Sharks hit .231 and .300 in sets one and two, before Bryant started to connect. The Bulldogs would hit over .300 in both sets three and four.
- LIU had an advantage on aces (9 to 5), while Bryant out-blocked LIU 15 to 5.
- The game was an epic battle that lasted over two and a half hours.
- Bryant was 3-0 in NEC play coming into the match, and moves to 10-9, 3-1 after the loss.
