Constantino joined LIU in February of 2025 and oversees all aspects of the department’s media and broadcasting operations.
A Long Island native, Constantino returned home after a decade in college athletics in North Carolina. He most recently worked four seasons at Gardner-Webb University (2020-2024), serving as the school's Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcasting & Strategic Communication in his final season, the school's Director of Broadcasting the previous three seasons, and as the play-by-play "Voice of the Runnin' Bulldogs" during the entirety of his tenure.
Under Constantino's leadership, GWU Athletic Communications set department records for sponsorship sales, introduced men's and women's basketball radio broadcasts, debuted the athletic department's first official podcasts, and set single-season records for quantity of live productions, among other notable achievements. Gardner-Webb's Constantino-produced broadcasts built a reputation for quality throughout the Big South Conference and southeast region. Under Constantino's tutelage, six Gardner-Webb broadcasters made their national television debut during his tenure.
Gardner-Webb hired Constantino from Queens University of Charlotte, where he spent five seasons (2015-2020) as the play-by-play "Voice of the Royals" and his final three seasons as the school's Director of Broadcasting & Multimedia and an Assistant Sports Information Director. At Queens, Constantino founded the university's first live-broadcasting platform and served as the primary media contact for the Royals' nationally ranked men's basketball team.
In broadcasting, Constantino has appeared on ESPN2 as a play-by-play announcer and called the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament on national radio for Westwood One Sports. Other notable on-air stops include freelance stints with Learfield, the Charlotte Hornets, ESPN Charlotte, the Charlotte Knights (AAA, Chicago White Sox), the Big South Conference, and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), among other marquee assignments.
Throughout his career, Constantino has also worked behind-the-scenes on numerous national television and radio production crews. He currently assists the National Hockey League as a podcast producer and editorial consultant.
Constantino earned a master's degree in communication at Queens in 2020 and graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism in 2015. He is a 2011 graduate of Farmingdale High School.
