Bivona joined LIU in March of 2025 following a stint as Senior Sports Reporter for the Columbia Basin Herald in Moses Lake, Washington. During his time there, Bivona covered local and regional sports throughout Central Washington at the high school, college, and youth levels. He was named the 2024 Sportswriter of the Year by the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association. Previously, Bivona was a writer for the Auburn Plainsman and Auburn Villager where he covered multiple Auburn University sports and created social media content. A native of Burke, Virginia, Bivona earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Auburn in 2021.
