Prior to LIU, Cassmeyer spent 2 seasons as the assistant coach at UW-Oshkosh where she led Titan gymnasts to their fifth consecutive WIAC championship and third straight National Collegeiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) title. Individually, she mentored Emily Buffington to the WIAC and NCGA uneven bars titles, Mia Lucero to the NCGA title, and Reanna McGibboney to an All-America honor on the vault in 2024. In 2025, she mentored Amaya McConkay to the WIAC uneven bars title, Mia Lucero and Averie Evans to an All-America honors on the vault, and Lydia Hayden and Reanna McGibboney to All-America honors on the uneven bars.
Before coaching at UW-Oshkosh, Cassmeyer was a sports performance coach with Athletic Republic, and served as a team gymnastics coach for U.S. Gold Gymnastics and Cheer Academy.
Prior to her coaching career, Cassmeyer was a four-year member (2018-21) of the Lindenwood gymnastics program. During her time in St. Charles, Mo., Cassmeyer helped guide the Lions to four consecutive MIC titles and a USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championship in 2019. Cassmeyer and the Lions made history during the 2019 season, becoming just the third NCAA Division II program to compete in an NCAA Regional. The Lions set a new program record in 2019 with a Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) of 195.400, the highest mark in program history.
As an individual, Cassmeyer earned USA Gymnastics First-Team All-America honors on vault in 2021 and Second-Team honors in 2019. Cassmeyer earned USAG Scholar-Athlete in 2020, Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America in 2019, and MIC Scholar-Athlete in 2019 and 2020.
A native of Fort Worth, TX., Cassmeyer graduated from Lindenwood with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2021 and a Master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University in 2023.
