Matt Gill

Matt Gill is in his first year as the assistant coach for head coach Eric Wolf. He will focus on goalies and substitution box.

Before joining the Sharks, Gill was the goalie coach at SUNY Oswego under head coach Drew Bezek for the 2021 campaign. In his one year at Oswego he helped the team lead the conference in saves per game at an average on 18.4 stops per contest.
 
Gill played college lacrosse at The College of Saint Rose from 2018-2019 where he went on to play in 17 games for the Golden Knights and stopped 50% of his shots in 2 years. He also managed to tie the school’s single game saves record at 24 his sophomore year against Southern New Hampshire University.
 
Additionally, Gill works with Goaliesmith, a goalie training company for both guys and girls of all age levels.
 
Gill graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2021 with a Bachelors in Marketing.
