From 2022 to 2023, the Red Storm’s batting average rose 36 points and the team's on-base percentage climbed 35 points, while extra-base hits jumped from 129 in 2022 to 178 in 2023 and 186 in 2024. St. John’s also saw a surge in stolen bases, improving by 17 from 2022 to 2023 and by another 24 from 2023 to 2024.
Vigeant began his playing career at Rhode Island College (2017–21), where he set a program record with 151 career starts. The former second baseman posted a .350 career batting average with 274 hits, 180 runs, 62 doubles, 10 home runs, 148 RBI, and 29 stolen bases.
He completed his undergraduate studies at RIC with a dual degree in psychology and economics.
As a graduate transfer at St. Andrews University in 2022, Vigeant earned an All-Appalachian Athletic Conference First Team selection and captured the league batting title after hitting .432 with 56 runs scored and 52 RBI. He went on to earn his MBA in business administration from St. Andrews.
