Compliance for Current Students
Long Island University administers its athletics program in accordance with NCAA, Northeast Conference (NEC), affiliate conferences, and institutional requirements.
The compliance office monitors eligibility certification, required forms, and participation to ensure all requirements are completed prior to competition. Student-athletes are responsible for completing all required documentation and adhering to applicable rules.
Compliance is a shared responsibility across the athletics program. LIU maintains coordinated systems and processes to support adherence to NCAA and conference regulations, including ongoing monitoring, documentation, and review. Student athletes are expected to understand and follow applicable rules and to report any potential issues to the compliance office.
