Compliance for Coaches and Staff
 
Long Island University administers its athletics program in accordance with NCAA, Northeast Conference (NEC), affiliated conferences, and institutional requirements. The compliance office monitors eligibility certification, recruiting, financial aid, and required documentation to ensure all requirements are satisfied prior to participation. Coaches and staff are responsible for adhering to applicable rules and ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance.
 
Compliance is a shared responsibility across the athletics program. LIU maintains coordinated systems and processes to support adherence to NCAA and NEC regulations, including ongoing monitoring, documentation, and review. Coaches and staff are expected to maintain knowledge of applicable rules, operate within their areas of responsibility, and report any potential issues to the compliance office.
 
The University will review and address any concerns in accordance with NCAA, conference, and institutional requirements to ensure continued compliance across all programs.
