Stephen Ntambwe (8 solo, 1 assisted) each led the Sharks' defense with nine tackles apiece.
Kicker
Will Johnson had dual 39-yard field goals late in the fourth quarter to put LIU on the board, despite the defeat.
LIU will look to regroup when the team hosts UAlbany in its home opener on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 12 p.m.
