Hanover, Md. –- LIU completed a three-game sweep of Coppin State with a 13-1 win through seven innings on Sunday.
Justin DeCastro was stellar on the mound, going the distance and pitching a complete game in the win. DeCastro struck out five while allowing just one run and one walk as CSU managed only five hits against him.

Cord Dobrinski had a banner day at the plate with a 3-for-5 performance, complete with a triple, double, three runs scored, and two driven in.
Elijah Fairchild also went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, and
Joseph Durso and
Matthew McGurk each put together two-hit outings with two RBI apiece as well.
With the win, the Sharks improve to 15-6 in conference play.
LIU will next play host to Monmouth on Tuesday, April 21 at 3 p.m.
