BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Grace Hennig has been named NEC Player of the Week after leading LIU to a 2-1 victory over Temple on Sept. 7.
With the game tied at one apiece, Hennig scored her second goal of the season on a header via a
Bo Price corner kick assist at the 87:47 mark, to give the Sharks the lead and improve to a 2-1-2 record.
For Hennig, this is her first NEC Player of the Week honor of the season, and second NEC Prime Performer nod.
The Sharks will hit the field once again on Thursday, Sept. 11, visiting St. Bonaventure at 1 p.m.
