BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Brooklyn Menard and Flavie Boulanger have been named to the NEC Women's Soccer All-Rookie Team, the conference announced on Wednesday.
 
Putting together a strong freshman campaign, Menard earned two Rookie of the Week awards during the season and was the Sharks' third-leading scorer with three goals. She and Boulanger were both tied for third on the squad with seven shots on goal apiece.
 
Boulanger went on to score two goals of her own this season, including the game-winner in LIU's 2-1 victory over Delaware State on Sept. 21.
 
Menard and Boulanger helped LIU improve to a 7-5-5 record this season, including a 5-1-3 mark at home.
