BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Brooklyn Menard has earned her second Rookie of the Week honor after coming up in the clutch for LIU during a 2-0 week.
 
The freshman scored two goals this past week, scoring her team's first goal in each of their victories. The Sharks defeated New Haven 2-1 on Oct. 9, and shut out Le Moyne 2-0 on Oct. 12.
 
Menard has now scored three goals this season, helping LIU to a 5-0-2 conference record and 7-2-4 overall. She earned her first Rookie of the Week honor on Sept. 22 after recording her first goal.
 
LIU will return to the field on Sunday, Oct. 19, visiting CCSU at 12 p.m.
