Women's Lacrosse Beats Wagner 9-6, Wins Third Straight

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU women's lacrosse team is heating up.
 
The Sharks claimed their third consecutive win with a 9-6 win against Wagner on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Jenna Lewis put the Sharks ahead 4-2, and Pierson Schuchart extended LIU's lead with a late goal to end the first half.
 
Julia Trainor scored two goals in the second half and finished the game with a team-high five points.
 
LIU hosts Le Moyne on Alumni Day Saturday at 11 a.m.
