PROVO, Utah. — The men's volleyball team played BYU on Saturday in the teams' second matchup in three nights.
The Sharks hung in tough all match, but unfortunately could never pull away from the Cougars and fell in three sets 18-25, 18-25, 21-25.
Arthur Sueur had three kills with a .500 attack percentage and recorded five blocks on the defensive end.
Gio Collazo and
Eddy Alexandre led the Sharks with six kills. Collazo also tallied eight digs.
Seamus Flynn, who got the start, recorded four kills and one block.
Jack Sarnowski led LIU with 14 assists while
Roei Horovitz had 11.
The Sharks return to the court on Friday when they start NEC play at the Steinberg Wellness Center at 7 p.m.
