Jersey City, N.J. — Fresh off winning her second NEC Rookie of the Week award on Oct. 15, Bella Correia wasted no time by picking up right where she left off and led the Sharks to another victory.
 
LIU defeated Saint Peter's on the road, putting the finishing touches on a 3-0 shutout; it was the Sharks' second shutout of the season. Correia came up in the clutch yet again, leading her team with 10 kills and 3 spikes.
 
Camelia Melendez also contributed nine kills, adding to her team-leading 175 on the campaign.
 
The Sharks will next head to Stonehill for two days of matches on Friday, Oct 18 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 19 at 2 p.m.
