Chicago, I.L. — LIU battled Chicago State on the road Friday night, the first of two games the NEC opponents will play in as many days.
 
Freshman Bella Correia put together one of her best efforts of the campaign. Correia, who won NEC Player of the Week on Sept 5, had a season-high 11 kills to go along with 5 spikes.
