BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The Sharks returned home Saturday after two weeks on the road, securing a win over Stonehill.
LIU set the tone early, amassing a 17-7 lead by halftime and never looked back. The Sharks' defense clamped down and didn't allow another point the rest of the way, with a final score win of 31-7. The 31 points scored represents a season-high for the Sharks.
Quarterback and redshirt sophomore
Ethan Greenwood played a pivotal role, leading the team with 184 rushing yards and scoring one touchdown.
Michael Love,
Pat Bowen, and
Jared Lewis all scored touchdowns of their own for LIU. On the defensive end, Jojo Garcia,
Rafael Fasolino, and
Liam McCormick all had five tackles each.
LIU will look to continue its winning ways next Saturday, Oct 19, visiting Robert Morris at 12 p.m.
