Chicago, I.L. — The Sharks will play a pair of games on the road as the team visits Chicago State, beginning Friday, Oct 11 at 7 p.m.

Camelia Melendez has been a leader for LIU all season long, currently leading the team in kills with 159. Graduate student
Bria Plante and senior
Alasha Colon currently share the team lead in spikes with 60 apiece.
Melendez played a big role in the Sharks' most recent win, a 3-2 victory over Saint Francis on Oct 4. She led the way with 25 kills and 5 spikes, while senior
Iremnur Elmas chipped in with 9 kills and 5 spikes of her own.
After LIU starts things off against Chicago State on Friday night, the two teams will play again on Saturday, Oct 12 at 2 p.m. Fans can catch all the action on NEC Front Row.
