In her LIU debut, Sydney deVroedt scored four goals.
Elena Camarena recorded three goals and three assists.
The Sharks were anchored by goalkeeper Martina Giannoni, who tallied six saves.
As a team, LIU had a total of 10 assists.
Five different Sharks scored in the win.
In the second game of the day, LIU had a tough task in No. 11 Michigan.
The Wolverines jumped out to an early lead and won 14-9.
Dominguez-Castro had another nice game, scoring three goals while Diba Peiravani added two.
