STATEN ISLAND, N.Y — The LIU softball team came up short of a three-game sweep against Wagner after the Sharks' 1-0 loss in Staten Island.
LIU, which one its first two games of the series after sweeping the Seahawks during Friday's doubleheader were held to four hits on Saturday.
Camryn Lyman went two-for-three on the afternoon. Gabby Padilla and Maya Avila both collected hits against the Seahawks.
Lindsey Cowans was strong in the circle. The sophomore struck out four batters.
LIU hosts Quinnipiac on Thursday.
