Maya Avila's two-run double in the first inning put the Sharks on the board — and they never looked back.
Dallas Andrews started the Sharks' second inning rally with a two-run single to center field, which put LIU up 4-0.
Alyssa Polemeni blasted a two-run home run to left center field in the fourth inning to give the Sharks a commanding 9-0 lead.
Andrews, Padilla, Polemeni, and Avila finished the game with two RBI's each.
The Sharks won their three-game series against the Blue Devils, but fell short in game one of the doubleheader 5-2.
LIU next plays at Wagner on Friday.
