HAMDEN, Conn. — The LIUnMen's lacrosse team faced Quinnipiac in the regular season-finale and fell 19-13 on Saturday.
LIU finished
Jordan Levine's first season at the helm 5-9 overall and 4-5 in the MAAC.
Against Quinnipiac, LIU led 4-2 after one quarter and was tied at 8 at halftime.
The Sharks held their final lead, 9-8, when
James Butler scored 2 minutes, 18 seconds into the third quarter.
Quinnipiac answered with five straight goals.
Butler finished with a hat trick.
Brad Beck,
Sean Boll,
Marcin Maleski and
Nick Colantonio had two goals apiece.
