CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The LIU men's volleyball team put a scare into Harvard on Saturday night.

Kale Spencer had 12 kills and Livan Moreno had eight digs in a four-set defeat.

Harvard prevailed 25-19, 25-23, 16-25, 25-22.

LIU's last lead of the fourth set came at 22-21.

The Sharks (7-7) entered the match off a straight-set win at American International on Friday night, also in Massachusetts.

LIU next returns to NEC play when it faces D'Youville on Wednesday and Daemen on Thursday in Buffalo.
