FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The LIU men's volleyball team improved to 7-1 in NEC play after its 3-1 win against Sacred Heart.

The Sharks, which have won its last four matches, cruised past the Pioneers on Saturday evening to wrap up its two-match road trip.

Livan Moreno and Caden Satterfield were solid offensively for the Sharks. Satterfield tallied a team-high 19 kills. 

Moreno finished the match with 14 kills.

Gio Collazo was strong on the ground for the Sharks. The sophomore had 17 digs, while Luca Holanda helped out with nine of his own. 

The Sharks improved to 13-8 on the season.

LIU next plays on Friday against Daeman inside the Steinberg Wellness Center.
