NORTHPORT, N.Y. — The LIU equestrian team's postseason is underway … and the Sharks have advanced.

LIU earned the Region 4 championship and now moves on to the Zone finals on April 8 in Saratoga Springs.

Advancing individually:

• Anna Perlow in open flat and over fences.

• Sam Koeppel and Peyton LaFrenz in intermediate flat.

• Bianca Törnecrantz in limit over fences.

• Juliana Lingner and Sophia Mirando in limit flat.

• Sarah Stayton in novice.

• Nicole Kravets in introductory.

At the conclusion of the competition, Perlow was named Cacchione Cup rider for Region 4.
