BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The LIU men's volleyball team stepped out of conference play and earned a straight-set win against American International on Saturday night at Steinberg Wellness Center.

The Sharks defeated AIC, 25-14, 25-18, 25-14.

Luke Chandler had six kills and seven blocks in the victory.

The Sharks similarly produced a straight-set victory against AIC in Springfield, Mass., on March 3.

LIU returns to NEC action next weekend with games Friday at Merrimack and Saturday at Sacred Heart.
