North Easton, Mass. — The LIU men's basketball team fell short against Stonehill on Thursday night — but the Sharks did not go down without a fight.
Tre' Wood scored a team-high 20 points for the Sharks and dished out five assists inside the Merkert Gymnasium.
LIU, which lost to the Skyhawks 75-60, had three double-digit scorers in its final regular season matchup against Stonehill.
Frehsman guard R.J. Greene scored 12 points and Cheikh Ndiaye dropped 10 points in the Sharks' final road game of the regular season.
LIU next plays Saturday at 1 p.m. inside the Steinberg Wellness Center.
