SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. — Mikayla Lantto scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, and the LIU women's hockey team remained unbeaten in NEWHA play with a 3-1 victory against host Saint Michael's on Friday night.
Lantto staked the Sharks to a 2-0 lead late in the opening period. And after the Purple Knights pulled within a goal in the third period, Lantto scored again — restoring a two-goal cushion with 6 minutes, 9 seconds remaining in regulation.
