Noah Kane's Late Goal Leads to Frenetic Finish in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. — Noah Kane scored with 80 seconds remaining and goaltender Brandon Perrone on the bench for an extra skater. However, Omaha held on for a 3-2 win over he LIU men's hockey team on Friday night at Baxter Arena.

Perrone made 32 saves in the defeat.

Josh Zary had a second-period power-play goal for LIU, which pulled the Sharks within 2-1 at the time.

The teams meet again on Saturday at 8:07 p.m. ET in Omaha.
