FAIRFAX, Va. — LIU men's volleyball is trending up through four games.
The Sharks beat George Mason in four sets, 25-22, 25-23, 26-28 and 25-19 on Thursday and moved to 3-1 overall.
In a closely contested first, LIU was able to escape with a
Gustavo Cavalcanti service ace to win the set. The team had a stifling .400 hitting percentage with only three attack errors.
The Sharks got hot and took the fourth set to prevail victorious. The return from the Patriots return went long and closed out the set.
