Liotard Scores First Goal of Season, but Field Hockey Falls To Temple

PHILADELPHIA — After winning its first game of 2022, LIU field hockey traveled to face Temple on Friday afternoon.
 
The Sharks fell, 5-1, moving to 1-4 on the season.
 
Felicia King found Meilin Liotard for a goal that trimmed the Owl lead to one in the third.
 
Temple outshot the Sharks, 17-4.
 
Maggie Streichert made seven saves.
 
LIU will travel to Quinnipiac on Sunday at 12 p.m.
