BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — LIU men's lacrosse picked up two academic awards Tuesday.
Defenseman
Ryan Blume, who graduated in May, was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-American.
The Sharks collectively earned the USILA's team academic award.
Blume produced a 3.8 GPA during the 2021-22 academic year. He was a second-team All-Northeast Conference selection after tallying 22 caused turnovers.
After graduating, Blume was picked up by the Premier Lacrosse League's Archers in May.
