WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The LIU women's tennis team concluded their season against Bryant, falling 4-2 to the Bulldogs in the Semi-Finals of the NEC Championships on Friday. The Sharks finished the season at 19-5 and 6-1 in NEC play.
 
SHARK BITES 

• Bryant grabbed the first point of the day with wins on doubles courts one and three to take the early 1-0 match lead.
• In singles play, LIU picked up their first point of the day on singles court five with Eilnor Storkaas taking a thrilling three set victory over Camila Baeza 4-6, 6-4, 6-0. After a loss on fourt four, the Sharks trailed 2-1. 
• LIU was down but not out, and former NEC Player of the Week, Valentina Dancenco, defeated Sarah Hickey 7-5, 6-4 for LIU second point of the day and the Sharks were level for the match at 2-2. 
• Bryant would go on to win on three and six, each of those matches being pushed to third sets by the Bulldogs, which saw Bryant claiming a spot in the NEC Championship match.
