Women’s Swimming In Third After Day Two of ECACs

EAST MEADOW, N.Y.
– The LIU women's swimming team is in third place after the second day at the ECAC Championships Saturday. LIU earned another relay medal, and had a host of swimmers qualify for finals.
 
SHARK BITES
  • LIU started the night with a medal performance in another relay. The 200 medley relay team of Jacqueline Grabowski, Lydia Amon, Rea Shehu and Venna Andersen came in third with a time of 1:35.33, earning LIU's second bronze.
  • Ella Johnson took fourth in the finals of the 100 fly with a time of 55.42
  • Andersen took fourth in the 100 breast finals, with a time of 1:04.18
  • And Grabowski took fourth in the 100 back with a time of 56.12, while Sara Rodriquez Rubio and Shehu finished sixth and seventh in that heat, with times of 56.61 and 56.97 respectively.
  • The Sharks wrap up the ECAC championships Sunday, December 5.
