The Jaspers got another goal to pull within one on another free position opportunity with just under 10 minutes to play in the first half. Manhattan had two free position opportunities, but Duchnowski saved both to keep it a one goal lead.
Sara Stephens nearly had a goal right before the end of the half, but the Jaspers goalkeeper came up with the save.
Coming out of halftime,
Amanda Masullo kept her day going with her second free position goal of the game. Manhattan and LIU would trade free position attempts, as the Jaspers scored to get back within one.

Rachel Masullo was right behind her with four. Sherlock and
Kelly Johnston both had two caused turnovers on the day.
