West Windsor, N.J. — LIU men's tennis has advanced to the championship round of the NEC Tournament, after defeating Wagner 4-1 on Friday morning.
 
The tandems of Leon Harder & Philip Hilble (6-2) and Ales D'Anna & Danila Ishchanka (7-6) secured doubles wins for the second day in a row after winning in doubles during the Sharks' 4-0 opening round victory over Stonehill on Thursday.
 
Harder followed that with up with a 6-2, 6-3 win over his singles opponent, setting the tone for Hilble (6-2, 6-1) and Victor Sjöström (7-5, 6-4) to pick up victories of their own and help the Sharks advance.
 
LIU will play the title match against Binghamton on Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m.
