West Windsor, N.J. — LIU men's tennis will advance to the next round of the NEC Tournament following Thursday's opening 4-0 win over Stonehill.
 
The Sharks were led by Ales D'Anna, Philip Hilble, and Danila Ishchanka, all of whom earned victories in both their singles and doubles matches.
 
D'Anna and Ishchanka teamed up in doubles to pick up a 6-1 win, and Hilble won his doubles match alongside teammate Leon Harder by a score of 6-4. Hilble then picked up a 6-0, 6-2 victory in singles, followed by Ishchanka (6-2, 6-0) and D'Anna (6-1, 6-2) to give their team the 4-0 win.
 
LIU will move on in the tournament, playing Wagner on Friday, April 18 at 9 a.m.
