LIU Falls in Game One of Sunday Doubleheader Against CCSU

Jack Power went 1-for-3 with a double after hitting game-winning homer on Saturday.

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — LIU lost to Central Connecticut State in game one of Sunday's doubleheader, falling 11-1.
 
After hitting two home runs – including a walk-off solo shot to lead the Sharks to a dramatic 9-8 victory on Saturday, Jack Power went 1-for-3 with a double in Sunday's defeat. Joseph Durso drove in his eighth RBI of the season via a sacrifice fly to get LIU on the board in the fourth inning.
 
The Sharks and Blue Devils will play one more to complete the doubleheader on Sunday afternoon.
