MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Down 1-0, the Long Island University men's ice hockey team (3-5-0) scored five consecutive goals and defeated Robert Morris University (2-4-1, 2-0-0 AHA), 6-3, on Friday night at Clearview Arena.

Onni Leppänen scored two goals in the win. Dylan Kinch (one goal, one assist), Jaden Dyke (two assists), J.R Perdion (two assists), Brett Rylance (two assists), and Noah Serdachny (one goal, one assist) all also recorded two-point nights.

LIU goalie Daniel Duris saved 27 of 30 shots faced. The Sharks pulled out the victory despite being outshot 30-27, dropping 42 of 70 faceoffs, and going 0-for-2 on the power play, while RMU went 1-for-3.

The Sharks and the Colonials meet again on Saturday evening in the final game of the weekend pair. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
