HAMILTON, N.Y. — The LIU men's hockey team fell short 3-1 to Colgate in game two against the Raiders on Saturday night.
Colgate scored a goal in each period, including an empty-net goal in the third period.
J.R. Perdion scored LIU's lone goal with 59 seconds left in regulation.
Austin Brimmer assisted on Perdion's third goal of the season.
Isaac Lambert led the Sharks with a team-high five shots on goal.
Ty Outen stopped 16 shots on the evening.
LIU next plays at Wisconsin on Jan. 17-18.
