BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Matthew McGurk hit a grand slam in LIU's 12-6 win against FDU in game one of its three-game series against the Knights.
Noah Sorensen's two-run single in the second inning put LIU ahead 3-0.
Jack Power padded the Sharks' lead with an RBI double in the third inning, extending LIU's advantage to 5-0.
