WINCHENDON, Mass. — Jeannie Wallner scored a career-high four goals against Franklin Pierce as the Sharks rolled past the Ravens 6-3 to improve to 7-2 in conference play.
Wallner tied the game at 1 with just over 10 minutes left in the opening frame.
Milana Butera then gave the Sharks a 2-1 lead in the second period after scoring her second goal of the season.
Wallner scored the next three goals for LIU to complete her outstanding four-goal performance and also notched her 100th career point at LIU.
Abbie Thompson picked up her second consecutive win, securing victories on back-to-back days during LIU's two-game sweep of Franklin Pierce.
The Sharks return to the Northwell Health Ice Center on Friday at 3 p.m. to face Post.
