Ethan Homler produced his first goal as a Shark in a 1-1 tie with host Central Connecticut State on Sunday afternoon.
Homler scored with his right foot off a centering pass from
Ben Assane Fall in the 13th minute to open the match's scoring.
CCSU answered in the 17th minute when Austin Rocke converted a penalty kick following a foul in the box.
Goalkeeper
Jonathan Villacis, making his third straight start, otherwise made four saves.
Homler's last goal had come as a senior with Binghamton against UMBC on Nov. 1 of last season.
The Sharks return to action next Sunday at 5 p.m. at Sacred Heart.
