Keely Thomas Makes Career-High 10 Saves, but CCSU Tallies Late Goal

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — The LIU women's soccer team had a handful of quality scoring chances, but ultimately fell to host Central Connecticut State, 1-0, on Thursday night.

The game-winner came in the 80th minute from Giavanna Inzerillo.

Keely Thomas made a career-high 10 saves for the Sharks.

LIU dropped to 4-4-1 overall and 1-2 in the NEC.

The Sharks next face Le Moyne on Sunday.
