Women's Lacrosse Shines in Nation's Capital, Scores 13 Goals in Win Against Howard

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The LIU women's lacrosse team won its second-straight game after its 13-4 win against Howard in the nation's capital.

Leah Nonnenmann scored a team-high three goals for the Sharks on Saturday afternoon.

Olivia Fantigrossi, Harper Skeie and Lluna Katz scored two goals each against the Bison.

Lily Bilello was outstanding in the cage. The junior from West Islip made nine saves to lead LIU to its sixth win of the season.

LIU hosts Stonehill on Thursday.
