EASTON, Mass. — The LIU baseball team scored four runs in the final two innings against Stonehill, but the rally fell short in the Sharks' 10-7 loss to the Skyhawks.
The Sharks, which beat Stonehill twice on Friday, trailed 5-2 in the fifth inning on Saturday, after
JC Navarro's RBI double to left field.
Connor Price,
Jarod Wade,
Max Samson, and
Carlton Harper each drove in a ninth inning run for the Sharks.
Samson finished the game with a team-high three hits and plated a pair of runs against the Skyhawks.
LIU next plays against Manhattan on March 29.
