Women's Basketball Continues to Battle Hard on Road

TEANECK, N.J. —The LIU women's basketball team was put to the test on Thursday night against Fairleigh Dickinson. The Sharks fell 69-53, in another competitive match up against the Knights.

Ashley Austin continues to shine for the Sharks. The junior guard scored a game-high 11 points for LIU.

Graduate students Cristina Bermejo and Shyan Mwai both finished the game with seven points each. 

The Sharks return to the Steinberg Wellness Center Feb.11 for a Saturday afternoon match up against Wagner. LIU has five regular season games left before the NEC Tournament.
