The Sharks and host Stonehill tied 2-2 on Day 2 of their back-to-back games.
Ashley Morrow's goal with 43 seconds remaining in the second period pulled LIU even.
The Sharks trailed 2-0 before
Ryane Kearns got LIU on the scoreboard with a first-period goal.
LIU is now 16-1-3 in NEWHA games. The Sharks are unbeaten in 18 straight games against conference opponents.
The Sharks return to action next weekend with a home-and-home series against Sacred Heart, beginning Friday at 2 p.m. in Fairfield, Conn.
LIU will host a Senior Day ceremony before next Saturday's 7 p.m. regular-season home finale at Northwell Health Ice Center.
