FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The LIU women's hockey team's NEWHA unbeaten streak stands at 19 games after a 2-1 victory at Sacred Heart on Friday.

LIU (18-10-3, 17-1-3) already had clinched the NEWHA regular-season championship the previous weekend at Stonehill.
The Sharks and Sacred Heart complete their home-and-home series on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Northwell Health Ice Center. LIU will honor nine student-athletes in a pregame Senior Day ceremony:
